Paypal "Type 2" Forms:

Setting up your website template:

Step 1:
EDIT FLASH ANIMATION: | Click for more details
Open the "flash.txt" with Notepad or any plain text editor and edit "Yourwebsitetitle.com" with your website or company name. Be sure not to delete the "logo=". Edit the phrase following "&slogan=" with your slogan or leave this blank. This will update the Flash logo on all pages. You can replace the "flash-icon.jpg" in the "picts" folder with your own .jpg graphic to update the header image. If you wish to use a graphic logo, there are instructions later in this document.

Step 2:
EDIT FOOTER: | Click for more details | Variable help
Open the "footer.js" in Notepad or any text editor. At the top of this file you will see options you can change. Edit the "Yourwebsite.com" with your website name. This will update the footer text on all pages.

Step 3:
EDIT CONTACT INFO: | Click for more details
Open the "phone.js" file in Notepad or any text editor and change the company name, address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address (Edit the e-mail in 2 places). This will update contact info on the contact page.

Step 4:
EDIT THE CONTACT FORM:

Click for current info on setting up the template forms.

Click for info on adding more fields to the forms.

Click for changing form sizes or colors.

If you want to use only e-mail on the contact page you can remove the contact form from the "contact.htm" between the comment tags.

Step 5:
REPLACE THE CART GALLERY PICTURES: | Click for more details | Thumbnail Help
The best way to setup the pictures in the gallery is not to actually edit the HTML pages and change the pictures on each individual page. The fastest way is to simply replace the pictures in the "gallery" folder with your own by overwriting the files that are in there now and using the same generic names.

In the "gallery" folder: Replace all the "Fgallery" and 2 "Fspecial" pictures with full size photos. Replace all the "gallery" and 2 "special" pictures with your thumbnails. The thumbnails are now 100 x 100 pixels but you can make them any size that you prefer. This will update the 6 product gallery pages and the specials.html.

Replace the four "product-?.jpg" images in the "gallery" folder for the four detailed product pages linked on the index.html. Hover over any image in Windows Explorer to view the image sizes.

Replace the four "home-product-?.jpg" images in the "picts" folder. These are the thumbnails on the index.html or homepage.

POP UP WINDOW OPTIONS: | Click for more details
This template includes some options for the pop-up windows. To change these options, open your "pop-closeup.js" in Notepad and put a "yes" or "no" (all lowercase) for the options you want to change. You can also change the height and width variables as well as turn on and off the scrollbars. See the notes in the "pop-closeup.js" for details.

Step 6:
EDIT SIDEBARS: | Click for more details
Open the "sidebar-left.htm" or "sidebar-right.htm" in Notepad or an HTML editor. Edit the text and links with your own text. Edit the "sidebar-right.js" to turn off the scroller application or turn on a sidebar image. Editing the sidebar files will update all the pages at one time. Click the more details above for more help with the sidebars. Sidebar height can be edited in your CSS file.

SIDEBAR SCROLLER:
The scroller in the sidebar is showing 3 HTML pages that you will edit like normal web pages. Edit the 3 "scroller?.html" pages in the "scroller" folder. Change the scroller fonts and colors in the "scroller.css". You can edit the "background-scroller.jpg" with your own image. And edit the "scroll.variables0.js" to change the scroller size or speed or add or remove pages in the scroller window. If you add links to the sidebar pages, be sure to view the "scroller2.html" page for the proper code to target the links.

SIDEBAR MAIL LIST (newsletter):
To setup the sidebar maillist or newsletter form, please see this support page.

SIDEBAR VIEW CART BUTTON:
Edit the "sidebar-right.htm" and edit "paypal@your-web-domain.com" in the "VIEW CART" area with your Paypal e-mail. For the other Paypal forms see the info later in this document.

Step 7:
SETUP THE SITE SEARCH:
Open the "search.htm" and edit "allwebcodesign.com" with your domain in 2 places. Open the "search.js" and edit "allwebcodesign.com" with your website domain in 1 place.
